Key Responsibilities- Maintain and record accurate daily financial transactions to keep our organizational ledgers perfectly balanced and up to date.
- Monitor and track office expenses while processing and paying vendor invoices in a timely, professional manner.
- Verify receipts and coordinate bank deposits securely, ensuring all cash and cheque transactions are meticulously documented.
- Assist with tax compliance and preparation, supporting the team in handling necessary tax forms and year-end procedures.
- Process and maintain secure, accurate payroll records using modern accounting and payroll software.
- Conduct rigorous audits of transactions to guarantee entry accuracy and ensure immediate correction of any ledger discrepancies.
- Develop comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly financial and statistical reports to provide management with actionable insights.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Bookkeeping Clerk, with a deep understanding of core bookkeeping procedures, terminology, and best practices.
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially MS Excel) and popular accounting software.
- Exceptional attention to detail with basic data entry experience to ensure flawless manual data management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to articulate financial details effectively with internal stakeholders.
