Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, lift, and shape a wide variety of doughs and batters to produce premium baked goods.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering strictly to food safety and handling best practices.
• Engage with customers through our Everyday ACTs—Acknowledge, Care, and Thank—to ensure a superior shopping experience.
• Collaborate with the baking crew to meet production targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Support the training and development of junior team members, sharing your industry knowledge to help talent grow.
• Ensure all products meet the high standards of quality and freshness our customers expect.

Qualifications

• A formal baking qualification (Certificate III in Plant Baking or equivalent).
• Proven professional experience working within a commercial bakery or retail environment.
• A strong understanding of food safety regulations and workplace health and safety standards.
• Ability to work an early morning roster (starting at 3:00 AM) to ensure fresh products are ready for opening.
• A curious mindset with a drive for continuous professional and self-development.
• Resilience and the physical capability to handle a manual, active role.

Roster Details

This position follows a consistent roster to help you plan your life outside of work:

• Thursday: 3:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Friday: 3:00 AM – 11:30 AM
• Saturday: 3:00 AM – 11:30 AM
• Sunday: 3:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• Monday: 3:00 AM – 11:30 AM
