About the Role

At Air Apps, we are on a mission to create the world’s first AI-powered Personal & Entrepreneurial Resource Planner (PRP). As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the server-side components that power our applications and support rapid global growth.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build RESTful or GraphQL APIs, microservices, and business logic using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Model data and manage queries using Supabase and PostgreSQL, including functions and row-level security.
• Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), focusing on Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub.
• Write clean, testable code using frameworks like Jest and participate in rigorous code reviews.
• Implement secure-by-default solutions following Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles.
• Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting while owning incident response and uptime improvements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in backend engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Supabase or equivalent PostgreSQL-based backend services.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and serverless compute.
• Solid knowledge of Clean Code, Clean Architecture, and REST API design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing tools, and Git workflows.
