About the Role
As a Backend Developer at 360dialog, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the infrastructure that powers the world’s leading WhatsApp solution for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services and RESTful APIs using Python, Go, or similar modern languages.
- Architect scalable systems capable of handling massive throughput and low-latency communication across the WhatsApp Business API.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, and Frontend to define technical requirements and deliver impactful features.
- Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing efficient database queries and caching strategies.
- Ensure system reliability through comprehensive unit testing, integration testing, and active participation in code reviews.
- Contribute to the evolution of our microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment frequency and stability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to maintain the high standards of service reliability expected by our global partners.
- Proven professional experience as a Backend Developer, ideally within a high-growth SaaS or telecommunications environment.
- Strong proficiency in modern backend programming languages such as Python (Django/FastAPI) or Golang.
- In-depth knowledge of database management systems, including experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or NoSQL solutions.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience designing and consuming complex APIs and a strong grasp of asynchronous programming patterns.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or GCP, and modern infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, asynchronous team setting.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
