About the Role

Adani Airport Holdings Ltd is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Associate Officer for our Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) division. As a critical member of our emergency response team, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding lives and infrastructure within our rapidly expanding network of world-class airports. • Emergency Response & Mitigation: Act as a primary responder to aircraft incidents, structural fires, hazardous material spills, and medical emergencies within the airport perimeter, ensuring swift and effective intervention to minimize risk.
• Advanced Fire Suppression: Deploy specialized firefighting techniques using water, foam, and chemical agents to extinguish fires and conduct complex search and rescue operations in hazardous or low-visibility environments.
• Emergency Medical Services: Provide critical first aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) to passengers, crew, and personnel, stabilizing individuals until advanced medical services arrive.
• Operational Readiness & Maintenance: Execute daily inspections of specialized firefighting vehicles, high-tech extinguishers, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure 100% mission readiness at all times.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain meticulous incident reports, shift logs, and training records in accordance with ICAO standards and DGCA regulations to ensure seamless regulatory audits.
• Training & Drills: Actively participate in routine emergency simulations, large-scale fire drills, and continuous professional development programs to sharpen tactical response skills.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Air Traffic Control (ATC), the Duty Manager, and external emergency agencies to ensure a synchronized response during critical incidents.
• Hazard Identification: Conduct proactive patrols and safety inspections to identify potential fire hazards, implementing immediate corrective actions to maintain a secure environment.

• Academic Background: Must hold a Diploma in Fire Fighting Technology or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institution.
• Professional Certification: Mandatory certification from an accredited firefighting academy is required for this role.
• Relevant Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of professional firefighting experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of fire behavior, rescue tools, and the operation of crash fire tenders and specialized ARFF equipment.
• Physical Fitness: Candidates must meet the stringent physical agility and medical standards required for active emergency service duties.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with ICAO Annex 14 standards and national aviation safety protocols is highly desirable.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and decisively under pressure, facilitating effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
