About the Role

Bluecore Residential is a premier, privately owned real estate investment firm that has managed over 16,000 units across high-growth secondary markets. Positioned at the forefront of the industry, we leverage a fully integrated property management and data analytics platform to consistently deliver exceptional results, including deal-level IRRs exceeding 30% annually. As we continue to expand our footprint across the Sunbelt and invest preferred equity in flagship developments, we are seeking a high-caliber Asset Management Analyst to join our team.

This 100% remote position sits at the critical intersection of Operations and Investment, offering direct exposure to our Founders and senior leadership. The Asset Management Analyst will be a key driver in measuring asset-level performance against underwriting assumptions, managing complex financial modeling, and identifying the narratives behind operational variances. This is a high-visibility role designed for a motivated professional looking for a clear career pathway into senior asset management or acquisitions within a tech-forward, transparent, and high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Performance Management: Lead monthly and quarterly variance-to-budget analyses, decomposing data into key operational drivers such as occupancy, lease trade-outs, renewals, and controllable expenses.
  • Market Intelligence: Maintain and enhance submarket competitive sets, tracking rent trends, concessions, and supply data to provide critical context for portfolio performance.
  • Operational Collaboration: Partner closely with Property Management teams to identify performance gaps, validate budget assumptions, and track the execution of corrective action plans.
  • Financial Modeling & Reporting: Build and maintain sophisticated Excel models for budget-vs-actual tracking, trend analysis, and portfolio rollups while extracting data from property management systems like Yardi.
  • Underwriting Support: Analyze underwriting budgets and operating assumptions for multifamily assets throughout the hold period and support the creation of investment memos and scenario modeling.
  • Budgeting & Strategy: Support the annual budgeting process by stress-testing property-level operating budgets and assisting with hold/sell analyses and refinancing business plans.
  • AI & Innovation: Proactively leverage AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Excel integrations to automate recurring analyses and streamline reporting workflows.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–4 years of experience in multifamily or commercial real estate, with a background in asset management, acquisitions, property accounting, or valuation.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced financial modeling capabilities in Excel, including the ability to build, audit, and troubleshoot complex models from scratch.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep familiarity with multifamily operating statements and key metrics such as NOI, economic occupancy, and expense ratios.
  • Software & Tools: Prior experience with property management systems like Yardi, RealPage, or Entrata is highly preferred.
  • Forward-Thinking: A strong interest in or exposure to utilizing AI tools for investment workflows and process optimization.

Benefits
  • Incentives: Competitive performance-based bonuses tied to corporate and portfolio success.
  • Flexibility: 100% remote work environment with unlimited Dedicated Time Off (DTO) starting from day one.
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive Medical (PPO/HDHP), Dental, and Vision insurance, plus FSA/HSA options with employer matching.
  • Financial Future: 401(k) retirement plan with a 25% company match up to 6%.
  • Perks: 25% housing discount on any unit within the portfolio and 10 paid holidays.
  • Professional Growth: Full reimbursement for industry-related certifications (CAM, CPO, EPA) and direct mentorship from industry leaders.
  • Lifestyle: Paid volunteer hours and significant discounts on travel, car rentals, and mobile plans.
