Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and ship end-to-end AI features, managing the entire lifecycle from model selection and prompting to system integration and user experience.
  • Architect and iterate on sophisticated agent workflows, including memory management, tool usage, and multi-step reasoning capabilities for long-running processes.
  • Translate non-deterministic model outputs into structured, reliable, and predictable system behaviors that maintain high performance across diverse use cases.
  • Debug complex issues across the full stack, including model biases, orchestration bottlenecks, infrastructure scaling, and front-end interaction patterns.
  • Optimize AI systems for production-grade reliability, focusing on minimizing latency and managing compute costs without sacrificing intelligence or accuracy.
  • Develop and implement lightweight evaluation frameworks to measure and improve the real-world performance of models based on user signals and production data.
  • Collaborate closely with product and research teams to translate ambiguous user needs into functional, high-impact technical specifications and working systems.
  • Own technical problems end-to-end, from shaping initial model behavior to ensuring the system remains robust under heavy real-world usage.

Qualifications
  • Deep foundational knowledge of machine learning, modern neural network architectures, and the current landscape of Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Proven hands-on experience in training, fine-tuning, and deploying machine learning models into production environments at scale.
  • Expertise in Python and a strong familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
  • Strong proficiency in working with modern LLM APIs (OpenAI-style), open-source models (LLaMA, Qwen), and inference engines like vLLM.
  • Experience with Vector Databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to maintain persistent context and long-term memory.
  • Exceptional ability to write clean, production-quality code and navigate various abstraction layers from low-level infrastructure to high-level product logic.
  • Resilient problem-solving skills with a bias toward action, shipping, and continuous iteration in fast-moving, high-growth startup environments.
  • Ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems and execute independently while exercising sound technical judgment.
