About the Role
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, providing consumers with the flexibility to buy now and pay later without hidden fees or compounding interest. We are seeking a visionary Senior Product Manager for our Digital Wallets & Agentic Commerce team to help define the next decade of commerce by building the foundational BNPL infrastructure for the worlds leading digital ecosystems. In this role, you will lead the charge in ensuring customers can discover, choose, and pay using Affirm within wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as within emerging agentic commerce environments that are reshaping how people shop.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will occupy a unique space that blends 0?1 innovation with 1?N scaling. You are not just optimizing existing funnels; you are designing novel experiences that demonstrate the future of consumer finance. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will move rapidly from data-driven insights to experimental prototypes, shipping end-to-end products that have a measurable impact on the global economy. You will think deeply about platform strategy, engineering constraints, and high-fidelity product design to ensure every interaction feels intuitive and seamless for the end user.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be the primary architect of the product roadmap for a specific wallet or agentic commerce area, translating Affirms core mission into actionable features. Your daily work will involve:
- Leading high-stakes experiments in highly ambiguous domains, including agentic checkout, physical store integrations, and next-generation BNPL applications.
- Partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Analytics, Design, Risk, and Legal teams to navigate complex regulatory and technical landscapes.
- Building and maintaining deep relationships with external merchant and platform partners to ensure Affirm is the preferred payment method within their ecosystems.
- Defining and owning critical business KPIs, including Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV), approval rates, conversion metrics, and long-term customer lifetime value (LTV).
- Moving fluidly between high-level strategy and technical execution, ensuring that API constraints and latency requirements are balanced with a world-class user experience.
- Scaling successful experiments into mature product offerings that can serve millions of users across diverse global markets.
We are looking for a product leader who possesses a rare combination of technical depth, commercial acumen, and design sensitivity. Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:
- 4+ years of professional experience in Product Management, specifically shipping consumer-facing mobile or commerce products at scale.
- Proven expertise in payments, digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay), or complex merchant and platform integrations.
- A 0?1 builder mentality with a documented history of launching new products or features from scratch that successfully shifted user behavior.
- Technical and design fluency; you must be able to discuss API architecture and latency with engineers while maintaining an incredibly high bar for UI/UX.
- A high-agency, bias-to-action mindset with the ability to make difficult trade-offs in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
- Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and translate complex analytical findings into clear, persuasive narratives for stakeholders.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in a high-growth tech environment.
