Key Responsibilities- Assist in the collection, classification, editing, and dissemination of vital aeronautical information and Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) to ensure global compliance and safety.
- Facilitate the transmission of critical flight messages, including arrival, departure, cancellation, and delay notifications, to maintain real-time operational awareness.
- Coordinate the dissemination of flight plans to the appropriate Air Traffic Service (ATS) units to ensure seamless navigation and traffic management.
- Manage the collection of various aviation fees, including landing, parking, navigation, and late operation charges, ensuring precise financial reporting.
- Verify and process essential flight documentation, such as General Declaration forms and Movement Sheets, to maintain accurate regulatory records.
- Monitor and troubleshoot specialized aeronautical computer systems, including SPATIA and CADAS, reporting any malfunctions to technical teams immediately.
- Maintain comprehensive shift logs, reconciliation documents, and administrative records to ensure operational continuity and transparency.
- Support the broader airport authority team by performing related duties as assigned to optimize airport efficiency and passenger safety.
- A minimum of five (5) subject passes at G.C.E. Ordinary Level or CXC/CSEC (Grade 3 or above), which must include English Language, Mathematics, and Physics.
- While no prior work experience is required, any previous exposure to aviation or data management environments will be considered a significant asset.
- Exceptional computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn and apply complex, technical aviation procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- A high degree of professional integrity, responsibility, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Willingness and flexibility to work a rotating shift schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- The physical and legal eligibility to travel overseas for specialized training programs as required for career advancement.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a high-level security clearance, supported by a clean police record and character certificate.
