As the Academic Engagement Manager, you will report to the Director of Professional Education and play a critical role in executing our professional education and physician engagement strategies. You will be a primary point of contact for academic training programs, coordinating essential initiatives for residents, fellows, and emerging faculty across the country. By fostering deep relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and medical societies, you will help drive the adoption of Calyxos innovative technologies. This remote position requires a blend of project management expertise, clinical understanding, and exceptional communication skills to ensure that every educational touchpoint reflects Calyxos commitment to excellence and high-quality healthcare professional (HCP) experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end execution of professional education programs, focusing on academic training centers and peer-to-peer initiatives.
- Coordinate specialized educational activities for residents and fellows to integrate Calyxos clinical solutions into the next generation of urological practice.
- Manage relationships with emerging faculty and established Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to ensure high-quality clinical engagement.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Clinical departments to align educational objectives with broader commercial strategies.
- Support the planning and execution of society meetings and industry conferences to maximize Calyxos brand presence and educational impact.
- Ensure the smooth delivery of all educational events, managing logistics, attendee experiences, and post-program evaluations.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and compliance standards for all HCP interactions and educational activities in accordance with industry regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve program efficiency and physician engagement through data-driven insights and feedback.
- Drive awareness of Calyxo products by positioning our clinical advantages through high-quality professional development programs.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical device professional education, academic engagement, or clinical marketing.
- Proven track record of managing educational programs specifically for residents, fellows, and clinical faculty.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with high-level HCPs and KOLs.
- Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to handle multiple simultaneous initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the urology landscape or kidney stone disease treatment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with AdvaMed guidelines and healthcare compliance regulations regarding physician engagement.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Willingness to travel as needed for society meetings, educational programs, and corporate events.
