Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, your impact will be felt across every layer of the gaming experience, from the first spin to the final big win. You will be responsible for maintaining a high visual standard while balancing technical efficiency. Your core duties will include:
- Symbol Design: Crafting consistent sets of game symbols with a clear visual hierarchy, ensuring they are flawlessly readable and engaging on any mobile screen.
- Atmospheric Backgrounds: Creating deep, immersive environments that set the mood while strategically guiding the player's focus toward the main reel action.
- Character Creation: Developing charismatic heroes with unique personality traits, while preparing assets with technical precision for seamless animation and visual upgrades.
- UI and Feature Design: Designing intuitive, emotional, and functional in-game interfaces, including pop-ups and banners, with a sophisticated approach to typography and composition.
- AI Pipeline Integration: Utilizing tools like Stable Diffusion and Midjourney for rapid concept drafting and variation expansion, while maintaining the highest standards of quality through manual post-fixing and upscaling.
- Collaborative Innovation: Working independently without micromanagement to drive tasks forward, resolve blockers proactively, and contribute to a high-performing global art team.
We are looking for a candidate who combines a deep love for art with the technical discipline required for the fast-paced iGaming industry. The ideal applicant will possess the following qualifications:
- Artistic Mastery: A profound understanding of design fundamentals, including color theory, lighting, volume, perspective, and spatial thinking.
- Industry Experience: Mandatory experience in the Slots/iGaming sector, with a firm grasp of the specific technical requirements and functional aesthetics of casino games.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in prompt design and parameter control for generative AI tools (Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, Nano Banana), used to enhance rather than replace manual artistic execution.
- Professional Autonomy: The ability to self-manage projects within tight timeframes, avoiding perfectionism for its own sake to deliver high-quality results efficiently.
- Language Skills: Confident spoken and written English for effective communication and collaboration within our diverse, international team.
- Comprehensive Portfolio: A showcase of commercial and personal work, including sketches and studies that demonstrate your creative thought process and development.
- Preferable Extras: Experience with Spine 2D, 3D software for block-outs, and a portfolio that showcases your Work in Progress (WIP) steps.
