Key ResponsibilitiesAs our Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw assets into compelling narratives that resonate with global audiences. Your primary duties will include:
- Reviewing and selecting high-impact footage from our extensive content library to meet specific project objectives and brand standards.
- Executing the full post-production workflow, including trimming, sequencing, color correction, and audio enhancement for a polished final product.
- Collaborating closely with marketing and creative teams to understand project briefs and deliver content that aligns with strategic business goals.
- Designing and integrating motion graphics, titles, and transitions that elevate the visual quality of every video produced.
- Managing digital assets and maintaining an organized file structure to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient retrieval of project materials.
- Optimizing video content for various digital platforms, ensuring that each deliverable is tailored for maximum engagement on social media, websites, and internal channels.
- Providing creative input during the pre-production and ideation phases to help shape the direction of future video projects.
- Continuously researching industry trends and new editing techniques to keep our visual output at the cutting edge of the industry.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional based in Latin America who brings a blend of technical expertise and creative vision. We are looking for:
- Full professional fluency in English, with the ability to communicate complex creative ideas clearly and effectively both in writing and speaking.
- Proven professional experience in video editing, supported by a strong portfolio or showreel that demonstrates a high level of technical skill and creative flair.
- Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is a significant plus.
- A deep understanding of storytelling principles, including pacing, rhythm, and emotional arc, to create engaging and memorable content.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- A proactive and inquisitive mindset, with a genuine passion for learning and adapting to new technologies and creative challenges.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and teammates across different time zones.
